Summary: Face it, if a whole amusement park couldn't keep genetically-engineered dinosaurs under lock and key, what hope does some dinky little countryside area have? It sure doesn't help that there are no non-carnivorous dinos to balance it all out. Instead, we have a bunch of therapods and some raptors too.

History: The small town of Fossil Ridge, Texas is in for trouble when a mad scientist uses bird DNA to bring back some dinosaurs. Unfortunately, they all end up causing havoc, and no human is safe. Not even a travelling rock band that stops by can escape the gnashing jaws of the past. Soon, they are menaced by all of them, particularly a blue Megalosaurus named Beth.

Notable Kills: A raptor kills a pimp while he's on the can. Also see Final Fate.

Final Fate: The dinosaurs all end up killing each other, with Beth emerging victorious even over the mighty T-Rex. She goes on to kill the rest of the other humans before the survivor blows her up with the building. The attacks are blamed on either killer emus (?!) or Chupacabra attacks...and there's at least one other raptor still alive.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-We can call it admirable that they let the Megalosaurus have its time in the spotlight, but these are some really pathetic effects. The physical props look too stiff, the CGI models look like something ripped out of a video game, and their movements are never not jerkish and unnatural. Also, the raptors don't really look like raptors. That's a minus in our book.

Trivia: -Megalosaurus was a Jurassic therapod, and one of the first non-avian dinosaurs to ever receive an official name in 1824. In fact, it was one of the first dinosaurs discovered, period. The first fossil was a femur bone thought to have belonged to a giant, and it was unflatteringly nicknamed "Scrotum Humanum" due to its shape. Megalosaurus was among the dinosaurs first displayed to the public eye, alongside iguanodon, and was once thought to look like a bear/crocodile hybrid. But even today, there is not a single complete skeleton of this dinosaur. Thanks to current knowledge of similar dino builds, we can infer that it looked a lot like other therapods at the time, like Allosaurus and Torvosaurus.
